Moquegua
Built in 1994 within the ruins of the Santa Catalina de Alejandría mother church. The museum has exhibits of pottery, textiles, gold and silver items and other artefacts from the Wari and Tiahuanaco civilisations, as well as objects from the local pre-Inca Chiribaya, Tumilaca and Estuquiña civilisations that had settlements in the Moquegua and Ilo valleys.
